Renovations to Classrooms and Corridors Completed Ahead of Schedule at York Catholic Middle School

After serving as general contractor for three (3) previous renovation and construction projects at the high school, Stewart & Tate Construction was once again contracted by York Catholic to renovate classrooms and corridors at the middle school.

Renovations included demolition and installation of new drywall finishes in the classrooms and corridors. New lockers were installed. Each classroom now has new wardrobe, base cabinets and countertops, new acoustical ceilings, new LVT flooring, and a new ceiling-mounted projector and screen. A variable refrigeration air conditioning system was installed, along with an upgraded electrical distribution system and new LED lights and lighting controls to meet current energy standards.

The client was thrilled when the project was completed two (2) weeks ahead of schedule, in plenty of time for a successful start of 2022-23 academic year.
