Stewart & Tate Construction is pleased to announce that it has completed the Phase 1 renovation of the former Cadillac Building in the City of York Historic District for use by Logos Academy as a senior high school instruction facility. The renovated building provides space for art and science classrooms, standard classrooms and chapel space. The renovation also includes offices and conference space for school administration and repurposes the Cadillac showroom for use as a community hub that will be available for use by City of York organizations to provide a connection between the school and the community at large. In addition to the renovation, S&T constructed a gallery addition that provides social and student media display space as well as a connector to Phase 2 of the project.
S&T plans to begin construction of Phase 2 in the Spring of 2022. This project involves construction of a gym with associated locker room spaces, a cafeteria space with supporting prep kitchen and classroom and meeting spaces. There will be a connected outdoor courtyard space along the front of the building and improvements to the site to allow for additional faculty and staff parking.
