Congratulations to Julia Neideigh, the 2020 winner of the Richard D. Poole Scholarship! This $1,000 scholarship is given by Stewart & Tate in honor of Rick Poole, the founder of Poole Construction, which is now Stewart & Tate Construction’s Building Group.
Julia grew up on her family’s farm and has been very active in the Future Farmers of America. It’s no surprise that she plans to attend the main campus of Penn State University in the fall to study Agricultural Sciences.
Julia is the granddaughter of Linda Flowers. Linda works as an administrative assistant in the Stewart & Tate Sitework Division.
The recipient of the annual scholarship is chosen through an essay contest by a panel of three judges. All high school seniors immediately related to a Stewart & Tate, Lewis Contractors, or Riley Welding & Fabricating full-time employee who plan to further their education are eligible to enter.
