Masonry Construction Job Fair

On Wednesday, March 13, Rick Miller and Doug Sheaffer represented York Building Products at the Masonry Construction Job Fair and Industry Advisory Committee meeting at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology. The event was held at the college’s Masonry Construction lab.

Industry representatives were able to see the Masonry Construction hands-on labs and some of the projects the students are working on. They also met with 1st and 2nd year students looking to make connections for careers after graduation and for internships over the summer. Rick and Doug also participated in the spring Industry Advisory Committee meeting (a discussion with technical faculty and other industry representatives about current trends in the industry and curriculum changes).
