Tim Tate Honored at 38th Annual Distinguished Citizen Celebration

Stewart & Tate is proud to announce that our President and CEO, Tim Tate, was honored at the 38th Annual Distinguished Citizen Celebration for his exceptional leadership, community service, and embodiment of the values upheld by Scouting America. This annual recognition is presented to individuals who exemplify the ideals of the Scout Oath and Law through their professional achievements, community involvement, and dedication to serving others.

Tim currently serves as Secretary of the Women’s Care Center of York, Vice President of the Country Club of York, and a member of the Governing Board for Misericordia Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Throughout the years, he has also held leadership roles as Chairman of Junior Achievement of South Central PA, Martin Library, and the Susquehanna Area Regional Airport Authority, where he served for 27 years. His leadership, generosity, and lasting commitment to our community and future generations continue to inspire so many.

The celebration also serves as a major fundraiser for the New Birth of Freedom Council. Stewart & Tate’s Director of Business Development, Christina McCullough, proudly served as Celebration Chair for this year’s event. More than 170 friends, colleagues, and business partners gathered at York College of Pennsylvania to celebrate Tim’s accomplishments and helped raise a record-breaking $113,000 in support of local Scouting programs benefiting more than 5,500 youth throughout the region.

Congratulations, Tim, on this well-deserved honor, and thank you to everyone who attended, supported the event, and contributed to the continued success of local Scouting programs!
