The Wenger Group’s New Corporate Office is Unveiled

Stewart & Tate Construction is thrilled to announce that that transformation of the former YTI Career Institute building into the new corporate center for The Wenger Group is complete!

The project involved a complete interior overhaul, including replacement of plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems to meet the company’s operational needs. To promote employee well-being, Wenger prioritized a natural environment, adding 75 domed tubular skylights and additional perimeter windows to bring in ample natural light.

The renovation included the creation of specialized spaces to support Wenger’s core operations, such as a full laboratory and test kitchen. A full-service café with vending and seating areas was also part of the design.

Interior finishes honor Wenger’s agricultural heritage, featuring patterned felt wall panels and wood slat trims that evoke grain cribs. Some areas feature wide plank LVT flooring, reminiscent of barn floors, and barn doors with sliding hardware and square-edged casings. Circular ceiling accents in the café seating area suggest the shape of a silo. A 1944 stake body truck, a key symbol of the company’s early days, is proudly displayed in the lobby.

The Wenger Group is a holding company for several feed grain processing businesses, as well as Leidy’s Premium Meats.  The completed project blends modern functionality with a tribute to Wenger’s roots and its longstanding core business.
