Sitework Group Safety Day

The Stewart & Tate Sitework team recently took part in a Safety Day event organized by its Safety Department. The day kicked off with load securement training led by a DOT compliance officer, covering the proper use of chains, binders, and straps for securing various types of loads. Next, TrenchTech, Inc. delivered a trench and excavation safety session using their mobile technology center.

The in-house safety team followed with classroom-style training on several critical topics, including heavy equipment and ground crew safety, proper lifting techniques, silica exposure prevention, defensive driving, and general safe driving practices. The day concluded with a hands-on demonstration by GPRS, showcasing their ground penetrating radar (GPR) services, utility locating and mapping, and concrete scanning capabilities.
