Mike Zink Has Entered Semi-Retirement

After 46 years in the construction industry, Mike Zink, General Superintendent of Asphalt, Paving & Concrete for Stewart & Tate, has entered semi-retirement.

Mike began his career in 1980 at Gray & Son in Timonium, MD, where he advanced through the ranks from laborer to paving superintendent. In 2021, he brought that wealth of experience to Stewart & Tate. His industry knowledge, steady leadership, and practical approach have made a lasting impact on both our team and the many projects he has helped guide.

When he’s not supporting our team one day a week, Mike plans to enjoy some of his favorite activities, including hunting, fishing, cruise vacations, watching Baltimore Ravens football and college lacrosse, and tackling his wife’s “honey-do” list.

Mike’s career reflects a simple truth he has lived by: “Hard work never goes unseen.” It’s a philosophy that has guided him for more than four decades and leaves a lasting example for everyone who has had the privilege of working alongside him.

We thank Mike for his many contributions and wish him all the best in this next chapter!
