Frederick, MD Plant Expansion Completed

York Building Products is excited to share the successful completion of a building addition and the installation of an automatic stretch wrapper at our Frederick, MD block plant. Fairs Construction officially broke ground on November 13, 2024. The main building structure was erected during January and February 2025. Final inspections and the installation of the new SWS stretch wrapping machine took place in March.

We would like to extend a special thank you to Pam Heininger, YBP Procurement Coordinator, for her outstanding dedication and coordination throughout the project. From managing timelines and securing engineered drawings to overseeing Frederick County’s building inspections, compliance reviews, and final safety and fire inspections—her efforts were instrumental in the project’s success.
