Charlie Sowers Retires

After more than 47 years in the construction industry, including the last 19 years with Stewart & Tate, Project Manager Charlie Sowers is embarking on his well-earned retirement! Charlie joined Stewart & Tate through the acquisition of Richard D. Poole, LLC and has since played a key role in managing numerous projects for our building group. Many of these projects were for valued repeat clients such as Patient First, Turkey Hill Convenience Stores, York Catholic High School, and Carlisle Construction Management. Reflecting on his career, Charlie shared, “I’ve been fortunate to work with a great group of people. No one succeeds in this job alone, and I’ve always had support from both the office and the field.” In appreciation of Charlie’s many contributions, we recently hosted a luncheon to celebrate his retirement. He is now looking forward to spending more time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
