Breaking Ground at the Maryland School for the Blind!

Lewis Contractors is honored to have been selected by the Maryland School for the Blind as the Construction Manager for their new Gym and Pool Project. On October 23, 2025, we proudly joined school leadership, students, staff, and community members to celebrate the official groundbreaking of this exciting new facility.

Lewis Contractors’ President, Tyler Tate, was privileged to speak at the event, sharing his enthusiasm for the project and the positive impact it will have on the MSB community.

The new gym and pool, designed by Marshall Craft Associates, will provide state-of-the-art spaces for recreation, fitness, and therapy—supporting MSB’s mission to empower students who are blind or visually impaired to achieve their full potential.

We are grateful to be part of a project that will have such a lasting impact and look forward to bringing this inspiring vision to life.
